Are You a Personal Injury Solicitor? Then You Should Be Using Twitter

Twitter has over 500 million users, many of whom may need to use a personal injury solicitor or lawyer at some point in their life. It looks like it’s here to stay so if you are a personal injury lawyer and are not familiar with this social media platform then it’s high time that you got engaged and using it.

Twitter lets anybody post short messages – also known as tweets. You can only say so much with each tweet though, as the maximum amount of characters that you can use is 140. So you need to make it very short and sweet!

A Training Video for Beginners

People Use Twitter During Accidents and News Events

Over the last couple of years I have seen an increase in people looking for accident claims lawyers and personal injury solicitors. Some of the leading law firms and personal injury companies now have full time social media staff working on their social media accounts, so that just goes to show how important they think it is.

It’s also worth mentioning that news spreads like wildfire on social media, in particular when an accident happens. You can be amongst the first law firms to see what’s trending at any given time which could give you an essential head start over the competition in your town and city.

Definitely worth thinking about.

Over the next few months I will be launching some training sessions for lawyers – you can find out more here.
